It’s the most wonderful time of the year. At least that’s my view. I love Christmas and the memories of decorating the tree with my mother while listening to Andy Williams and the Ray Conniff Singers on our old stereo. Even if it was 80 degrees (and in New Orleans, that is a very safe bet), it still felt like there might be a surprise winter wonderland waiting outside.
Some of my favorite commercials are only seen at this time of year. They pull at your emotions, tug at your heartstrings and make you forget all the bad. Face it. We’re all suckers for a good Christmas ad.

My Favorite Classic Christmas Commercials
The moment I first saw this commercial in 2009, I had to laugh. I’m not even sure why. It’s NOT THAT FUNNY, but the thought of Santa not knowing M&Ms were real just seemed hysterical to me. It still makes me laugh.
I think this commercial (and others like it) were the primary reason, my dad had a collection of Norelco razors and a very close daily shave.
I don’t have a big brother and I don’t drink coffee, but I could watch this classic over and over. Now that I think of it, this commercial might be the reason I love the smell of brewing coffee.
And, honestly, how does a beer company create a brand image you’d want on your Christmas card?

You have to love teenager girls and the dad’s who love them (even if they don’t always know how to show it).
My friend Jim White spotlighted this Microsoft ad. I love the way technology can make everyone a hero.
Truth be told, I’m not sure how excited I get when I see my Amazon packages, but my dogs see that UPS truck stop in front of the house, and you would think every shipment contains their treats. So, I get this.
